Are you interested in learning more about the Ancient Christian Church?

Please come visit our comfortable reading room in charming downtown Forest Grove, where you can settle down with a cup of tea, browse our selection of books or borrow a book from our lending library.

We also have a dedicated children's area (so you can sit and read in peace!), an iconography studio to view and a room for quiet prayer and reflection.  We will gladly help answer any questions you may have about the ancient Christian Church and Her faith and practice.

COME Conference

The mission of the Ancient Church reading room is twofold:

  • to create a beautiful, welcoming space where people have the opportunity to encounter God and the ancient Christian Church through art, reading and discussion, and

  • to give voice to the Orthodox Church in Forest Grove, Oregon, actively witnessing to the incredible beauty and richness of Christian life, practice and Truth.
